Is There a “One Best” Diet for Humans? The Experts Speak
Presented by: John Lewis, PhD, Robb Wolf, Dominic D’agostino, PhD, and David Perlmutter MD
As the science of nutrition distances itself from commercial influence in favor of scientific validation, there remains a great deal of polarization amongst healthcare professionals with respect to the fundamentals of what constitutes a salubrious diet for humans. Well-respected, peer-reviewed literature supports a variety of clearly disparate themes. And this challenges the practitioner in terms of defining a clear set of dietary guidelines.
This forum will explore popular trends in nutritional science with well-respected proponents of various themes presenting the supportive evidence for their particular recommendations.
Dietary programs that focus on vegetarianism, reduced carbohydrates, achieving ketosis, or emulate the diets of our Paleolithic ancestors will be included in this program.
This presentation was recorded at the 2018 Integrative Healthcare Symposium Annual Conference.
