The Integrative Healthcare Symposium is accepting proposals to present at the 2022 Integrative Healthcare Symposium, which will be held February 17-19 at the Hilton Midtown in New York City.

The state of global health and healthcare is under a microscope as the healthcare industry navigates the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). What has not changed during this time of uncertainty, is the profound need and appreciation for healthcare professionals from all disciplines in traditional and integrative medicine.

The attendee audience includes: Medical Doctors, Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, Naturopathic Doctors, Licensed Acupuncturists and Practitioners of Traditional Oriental Medicine, Doctors of Chiropractic Medicine, Physicians Assistants, Dietitians, Nutritionists, Licensed Herbalists, Massage Therapists, Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, Physical Therapists, Psychiatrists, Registered Nurses, and Health Coaches. All disciplines are encouraged to submit.

Each year, the Integrative Healthcare Symposium staff and its advisory board revisits the specifics for this request for proposals based on prior experience, taking into account the rapidly changing world of healthcare. The following factors guided the development of this call:

  • The session must pass rigorous CE guidelines.
  • The session should enhance human and environmental health and wellbeing by advancing awareness and understanding of integrative healthcare principles.
  • The session must increase the realization of the importance of the patient and family as key partners in care.

The Integrative Healthcare Symposium is looking for current topics, not topics supporting old information. Preference will be given to new scientific advancements, ideas, and ways of thinking. In addition, there is a special interest in advanced courses for Naturopathic Doctors, as well as advanced courses on the microbiome and autoimmune disease.

Submissions will be accepted until May 28, 2021. Click here for more information on special topics desired, presentation formats, and CME guidelines, and to submit your application.

The 2021 edition is scheduled to take place September 18-20, 2021 at the at the Hilton Midtown in New York City.
