Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), one of the leading forms of talk therapy, uses a variety of interventions to address common thought distortions. Stressors associated with the COVID-19 pandemic have exacerbated these thought distortions and unhealthy thinking patterns in those who work in healthcare settings. Healthcare providers may benefit from techniques used in CBT that are discussed in this session, as a way to improve thinking patterns in stressful situations.
