The World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Agency for Research on Cancer have listed the electromagnetic fields produced by mobile phones as Class 2 B Carcinogens, meaning that they are possibly carcinogenic to humans and therefore in the same category as lead, engine exhaust, DDT, and jet fuel.
