Integrative Healthcare Symposium announces new dates for 2021 edition
The Integrative Healthcare Symposium event organizers announced new dates for its 2021 edition of the in-person conference, produced by Diversified Communications, according to a statement released earlier this morning.
The event, which was recently postponed from May 2-4, 2021 due to the continued magnitude of the public health and safety issues caused by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), will be held on September 18-20, 2021 at the Hilton Midtown in New York City.
“We are pleased to have been able to find new dates in 2021 that will allow our integrative healthcare community to gather once again for three days of educational program, networking, and business meetings,” said Liz Plizga, Diversified Communications Group Vice President.
The September edition will follow a new date pattern, with the exhibit hall and conference program opening on Saturday September 18 and ending Monday September 20. The pre-conference is scheduled for Friday September 17.
The healthcare industry continues to experience dramatic shifts amid COVID-19, with federal and state guidelines evolving as a so-called second wave leads to further shutdowns and stay-at-home orders. As medical facilities proceed with vaccine distribution, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) extended the public health emergency surrounding the pandemic through April 2021.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), there are more than 117,700,447 cases reported globally as of March 11 at press time, with about 29,104,508 cases occurring in the United States. More than 2,625,603 people have died from the virus worldwide, the WHO said.
The Integrative Healthcare Symposium event organizers said they are committed to the health and safety of their customers. Updates on health and safety information will be added on the event’s website as they become available.
“As we plan for the [2021] symposium,” Plizga said, “we will continue to closely monitor the situation around COVID-19 and work with the venue and the appropriate authorities to ensure the health and safety of our customers, attendees, speakers, vendors, employees, and local community.”
